Hello there! My name is Caroline Cole. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my home on the web and even more thanks for clicking over here to read more about me! I'm currently based in Dallas, TX and work as a storyteller. "What does that even mean?" you might ask. It's a confusing title. I know. But it was so hard to come up with a short job description! Voice over artist/copy writer/director/coach just got a little confusing, you know? Basically, it means I love to tell stories in any way I can AND empower others to find their own voice, tell their own story and make their own dreams come true. Originally trained as a writer and actor, I’ve since added voice acting, directing, teaching and yoga to the mix.
Clients usually hire me to:
write original material (ghost-written or not)
plays and skits (short or long)
scripts for voice over
edit work already created
record professional voice over projects
Students are usually looking for:
a straightforward course that can give real INSPIRATION and teach them QUICKLY without having to invest time and money on costly one-on-one instruction
a ONE-TIME COACHING SESSION for general feedback on their business, writing, or voice over techniques
a regular yoga or meditation teacher
a regular writing or voice over coach
My biggest passions are storytelling, arts advocacy, and creative living. These passions have led me to pursue voice acting, writing, teaching, coaching and yoga. Even with all of this, I spend time each year dedicated to the theatre, telling stories with very talented and competent young actors and technicians.
After graduating from the National Theatre Institute (NTI) at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center and completing my bachelors' in theatre performance at Rice University, I spent two years in Ukraine serving as a Peace Corps volunteer. I was able to teach English at a village school, empower young women to educate others on tough issues like HIV/AIDS and human trafficking, organize and teach creative summer camps all across the country, and serve as president for a nationwide environmental organization. Plus, *BONUS* I met my strikingly handsome British husband Chris, who I married in November 2014.
Now back in my hometown of Dallas, I've completed a masters degree in Theatre Education, am living in the vibrant neighborhood of Deep Ellum, co-working at a magical space called Arts Mission Oak Cliff, and collaborating with artist and entrepreneurs all over the world.
Wake. Drink coffee. Tell stories. Repeat.
I'd love to help you tell your story. Contact me to get started.
Peace and love and all that jazz,
