Hey y’all, I’m Caroline Cole. I’ve always known I’d be an artist—some kind of artist anyway. I started performing on stage at just 6 years old, then got a degree in theater performance. However, after graduation, I found myself in a state of stagnation.
I attempted to build a creative career from home, but my training had only prepared me for traditional markets. Relocating to cities like New York or LA was out of the question due to cost and congestion. I needed an alternative path to financial and creative freedom.
Seven years ago, I discovered voice acting and thought, "This is it! A way to make money from home using my acting training." However, after investing over $1,000 in local classes, I realized I lacked essential skills, particularly in auditioning and audio editing.
In frustration, I rebelled against conventional wisdom, teaching myself audio editing through YouTube tutorials.
